While not easily habitable, Bespin is a planet of great Value. Made of of much Tibanna gas, of which fuel is made, there are mining complexes, Cloud City and and stations for transporting the goods. No land or water can be found there that hasn't been imported for the purpose. 

Located in the Outer Rim it has a day (or rotation) of 12 standard hours and a full orbit time of 14 standard years! 

Ugnaughts are native to the planet and of course Cloud CIty is a known entertainment city, filled with casinos and hotels of the highest caliber. The famed Lando Calrissian (WoG Canon) Solire Kunmi is the Mayor of Cloud City, now.
