Wrap up warmly if you visit Hoth, an ice and snow planet in the Outer Rim. Part of the Hoth Star System, it is the Sixth Planet in the system. Though not very hospitable, it was the base of the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. 

The Echo Base, specifically, was housed there. 

The Battle of Hoth changed that. Not many creatures like in the harsh climate, but there are Tauntauns, which are often used as transport. (Do beware of the Wampa, who have mighty appetites and large claws and teeth!) 

It had 23 hours in a day and 549 of their days in an orbit rotation.
