In the Outer Rim is a planet with two suns. These suns have done a number on Tatooine, causing it to become a dry, desert planet and forcing the inhabitants to work in Moisture farms, drawing water from the atmosphere. 

Though barren and unappealing, the Jawa and the Tuskan Raiders thrive there and some legendary people have called it home, notable Luke and Anakin Skywalker, Jabba the Hutt and Obi-Wan Kenobi for a time.
