It has shielding and can crew 8.  Pilot, Co-pilot, Communications Officer, Engineer, Navigator, Diplomatic Aide, Security Officer, Bosun and up to 8 Astromech Droids. 

It can carry many passengers and as a major plus, has a climate controlled closet, for formal clothing!
