May the Fourth Be With You
Citizens of the Galaxy,
Rather than the regular "May the Force be with you" greeting one might hear more often, it is with great excitement that we get to say: May the Fourth be with you! Now, for this special day, we could feel the Force all around me! With that in mind, there was only right course of action to take: celebration, celebration, and more celebration!
Now what is a celebration without a little bit of fun and prizes? Without further ado, enjoy some fun ;)
Trip Down Memory Lane
WoG is the perfect place to make a variety of memories! Perhaps you chuckle at the thought of a particularly amusing topic you once wrote. Maybe you smile as you think about a funny conversation you once held in chat. You might even feel proud of that one assignment you poured your heart and soul into! Whatever that memory is, we want to hear about it! That being said: if you comment your favorite memory from site or even your favorite Star Wars moment, you will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize!
As a gift for participating in our contest, you will receive fireworks! The grand prize winner will be taking home a Trophy + fireworks! That being said, go go go share with us your favorite memory or Star Wars moment! We eagerly await reading all the memories wanted to be shared!
Topic Highlight Fun!
Let's keep the fun rolling! It is with great excitement that we can announce something new (and obviously fun) for everyone. There will be a new section every week at the end of Friday's Blog!
At the end of that blog, a theme(s) will be given (example: porg + lightsabers). If you manage to write a topic somehow involving these themes, not only will you, your topic partner, and topic be featured in the next Friday blog, but you will also get a prize! Sounds like a perfect deal to me, don't you think? It's time to pull out some crazy cool ideas and get to writing up topics around site!
So starting off a bit early rather than making you wait for next Friday, here are the week's themes: Ewoks + Sabacc. We are excited see what wonderful (and possibly chaotic) topics come from this theme!!
