"Mace Windu Purple"

When taking a stroll down memory lane, I often find myself impressed by the well known Jedi of our past, Mace Windu, for multiple reasons. Not only was he a talented Jedi Master, but during his time, he also had a rather unique lightsaber. Naturally, it sparked my interest. His lightsaber, as most know, was purple.

On my latest travels throughout the galaxy in search of tourism things, I came across a certain trend: the Mace Windu purple trend. However, this trend had not only made its way onto the Holonet, but to a planet I visited. In fact, upon my arrival, I was met with everything purple. I even noticed a banner hanging in celebration of the Mace Windu purple trend. On this planet, it seemed that the purple had taken over entirely! The city was purple and so were the people, decked out from head to toe in articles of purple clothing.

Upon departing from my ship with Bubbles (my mostly harmless assassin droid companion), we decided to take a tour of this purple bedazzled city. Within the first five minutes of walking through the city streets, I couldn’t help but notice the many pictures of Mace Windu in every window and street sign, all advertising this purple fiesta.

Once I had reached the heart of the city, I decided to interview some of the locals to see what their thoughts were on this Mace Windu purple trend:

“It is the best thing ever! Have you ever noticed how jazzy the color purple is?! Especially since one of the best Jedi Masters had it as his lightsaber color?! Who wouldn’t want to make it into a trend!”

“Although I’m not sure what Mace Windu’s opinion was regarding fashion, you’ve got to admit that purple just works. The fashion world is thriving! I believe the color purple trend should expand beyond our planet to the whole galaxy! Imagine the entire senate building decked out in purple! Wouldn’t that be awesome?!”

“If you go into all the stores and restaurants, even the food is purple! I had purple toast for breakfast this morning, along with this purple salad! Not entirely sure if that’s normal but it fits the vibe this city is going for! Do you think Coruscant will start serving purple toast to honor the purple trend!? It would be great if it did!”

Throughout my time in the city, I was blown away by the amount of people who were interested in supporting and furthering the Mace Windu purple trend. With how things were looking on that planet, I couldn’t help but wonder how long it would take before the trend reached more planets! How fast would our worlds turn purple? Before I left to continue on my travels, I just had to try the purple toast mentioned by one citizen! I will admit, it did look quite interesting, but was a decent meal! Perhaps with a little dusting of powdered sugar, it will be perfect! Long live purple..?
