"Ahsoka Tano Reborn?!"

I was faced with an unusual dilemma today. I would like the opinion of you, the People. 

 

Certain times of the day and week, my office is open to the public to come in and meet with me with any concerns, questions, problems, etc. I am used to meeting with all kinds of people with a wide variety of issues. 

Sometimes they can get quite volatile or convoluded, other times, on rare occasions, they are pleasant and even bring gifts of thanks! 

 

At least, it happened one time. 

 

Anyway, this day, a woman was ushered in to my office and she had a - presence - to her. She also appeared a little - forgive me - odd. 

She had a blue and white striped scarf wrapped loosely about her head. THAT wasn't the odd thing, I wear a headscarf and veil myself. But it was the WAY she was wearing it that wasn't quite usual. 

 

Now, using the word 'usual' in this Galaxy is silly, as there are SO many species and cultures, but she wore it as if . . as if she didn't quite know HOW to wear it, but thought she looked intimidating. 

 

I asked how I could help her and she - there's no other word for it - stalked around my office before she slid into the chair offered and smiled at me. 

She didn't speak, so I finally asked how I could help her. 

 

She introduced herself as Ahsoka Tano. I nodded. "Your family must be fans of that historical hero." I said. 

She frowned and then made it clear that she was the REAL Ahsoka Tano!

After a stunned silence, I clasped my hands and considered what to say. 

 

Obviously, she was not in any way Ahsoka Tano. Waiving the fact that Ahsoka Tano had been dead for a very long time, this woman was not even Togruta, Ahsoka Tano's species. The scarf she was wearing was supposed to look like head tails. 

 

It didn't. 

 

I asked what I could do for such an auspicious Jedi Knight, as I wasn't sure if she would become agitated if I contradicted her. I couldn't tell if she was delusional, ill, or playing a prank. 

The Pseudo-Ahsoka Tano made it clear that she had returned to life in order to help me restore order in these trying times. 

 

I hadn't realized that the times were THAT trying, though I was touched by her consideration. I provided some lodging and sent her to rest while I considered her offer. 

 

Then I thought of what to do with this 'Ahsoka Tano'. Should I get her a medic? Should I lock her up? Should I send her out to do good deeds? COULD she be Ahsoka Tano returned? I didn't think so. But what do YOU all think? 

 

Was she dangerous? I wasn't sure. She hadn't looked very strong. I didn't feel that sending soldiers after her was very sporting, especially since she hadn't done anything wrong. She'd better stay away from Ahsoka's people, though, if she didn't want a riot. Tano was a famous figure with a loyal group of followers. I need to think carefully about this.
