"Jabba the Hutt, Hut!"

Some historical names are more obscure, while others seem to lose nothing over time. They stay as fresh in our minds as ever.

What some people choose to DO with these names, however, can be astounding.

Just when things were growing quieter around the office, something blew up! (not literally - that was a poor choice of expressions on my part)

I received an urgent call on my communicator, (the RED one. It stands for 'emergency' not 'Sith')
And soon I was embroiled in what I can only call the 'Jabba the Hutt Chair' I mean 'Affair'

So times are hard on some of the outer rim Planets. Many make their way just fine, but others rely more on trade or tourism and that can be harder to come by so far, far away.

People become creative.

As in the case of Hurngn, an intrepid merchant who decided to capitalize on the Hutt Cartel's fame in a way that he hoped would be safe.
He created the 'Jabba the Hutt Hut!'

An actual hut, but large, with a cosession stand and souvenirs and basically, it is a tourist trap with all things Jabba the Hutt.

You would not think (or *I* would not think) that the giant hutt crime lord would be an attractive draw, but that's me.
It should be noted as Jabba Tiure, as that was his actual name, but they went with his more well known moniker.

To make it even stranger, Hurngn has created a form of chair. He said 'it's like a giant bean bag, but it's filled with a gel instead of beans, to make it squushy"
It is in the likeness of Jabba the Hutt and you can purchase one and sit on it.

I find this disturbing.

Hurngn wasn't able to give me exact numbers as to how successfully they were selling, but he said it was 'Like hotcakes!"

If you have an interest in going and seeing this hut, or buying a Jabba The Hut chair, then I suggest you go soon, as their has been an outcry from many quarters.

The families of people who Jabba the Hutt wronged and who are still feeling the impact of it so many decades later (trying to get out  of debt, or having been uprooted, or having had family members 'disappear') are protesting this place.

Other natural Hutts are protesting the cheapness of the hut and the way Jabba the Hutt is being represented and even certain branches of the Cartel are protesting, as Jabba the Hutt is a celebrated figure in their history.

So I am sifting through laws and trying to figure out what is best to be done, all while struggling to not resent having to fight for the rights of an infamous crime lord!

What is your opinion on the subject?
Do I let it pass and tell everyone that it's a tiny tourist trap anyway, so nothing to fuss over?
Do I make them tear it down, to appease the cartel?
Do I make them tear it down, to apease the families that are angered, hundreds of years after the crimes?
What is best to be done?

Oh, Jabba the Hutt, you're still causing trouble, after all this time!
