The wedding preperations for the Emperor had permeated everything and though he would never admit it, I had spent much time calming down his nerves and listening to him talk about nothing and helping out with minor organizations of things that were unimportant, but that were annoying Arrikzane at the time. Because of that, my own work had begun to pile up more and more. It was good to be back in my office and able to focus again.
Of course, that's when I remembered that I had another interview to do! Quickly, I moved the pile of wedding swatches (I had no idea why they were in MY office) off the guest seat and was just putting it on a side table when the guard knocked and announced the guest, Luna Mackenzie.
"Welcome, Luna. Forgive me for not being quite as ready to receive you as I would like to be. But take a seat and if you require anything, don't hesitate to ask. Now as the Emperor may interrupt at any moment, with an urgent question about napkin folding, let us begin. Can you begin by telling me something about your home planet?" I didn't want to admit that I had misplaced her file and could not remember where she was from.
Luna Mackenzie Had come to Tessa Alloine office for an Interview today .She had to wait for the Guard to announced her Arrival and when she had walked in Luna wasn't going to question why there was a Pile of wedding swatches - she chose to Ignored that pile. She had sat down when Tessa told her to. Luna let Tessa speak first before answering a Question about her Home Planet to be Honest her Home planet wasn't the best place to be at. But either way Luna decided to Answer the question.
"Well My Home Planet isnt the best place to live it at but it is a great place to Visit Just dont go to any of the bad parts of my Home Planet unless you want get in a fight there"
Tessa: "Oh, that sounds dangerous. But I suppose it's the same in most places. Knowing where to go and when is important. I understand that you work in a cafe. Is that family run? And how does it compare to Dex's Diner?"
Luna: ""Yes I do work part at a Cafe. Its a small run ,Family own. I wouldn't say that its better then Dex Diners, but I would say that this cafe has better drinks then Dex Diners".”
Tessa: "That IS a high recommendation! I will certainly have to go there on one of my travels and try it out. I like to try out the local places. Now, if you were going to give any tips or advice to a Galactic Republic who was starting their journey in the Galaxy, what would it be?"
Luna: "Well My Tip is to start slow. You don't want start fast, you want start slow because that way you will rise up as you do it slowly. If you do it too fast then you will end up failing, but never give up. You can always try again"
Tessa: "Those are some wise words, indeed. I think in these days we want instant success, but it's important to take our time and learn things along the way, aquire the skills that we will need. Very true. Is it your hope to own the Cafe someday or is there something else you are interested in doing?"
Luna: "Well My dream is to Open a Place for Runaway Teens or People whp are struggling in life because I want to help People in the future to back up on their feet again so they dont have to worry about anything"
Tessa: "Oh, Luna, that is a wonderful ambition! As Chancellor, I can say that we need more of those kinds of goals in the Galaxy. I hope that you achief your dream and that you find many to help you. If you get things started, you can count on my support."
"Well, I believe that the Emperor will be on his way at any moment now, so we'd better wrap this up. Before we part, however, I'd love to see a demonstration of a skill of yours. Either something you learned in a class you may be taking, or something you learned in your life, the cafe. Anything."
Luna answered the final question and she listened to Tessa one last time. She stood Up and showed Tessa what she had learn from the cafe and that is being clean is better then having something dirty once she had finished she Looked at Tessa One last time.
Even with my troubled eyesight, I could see how sparkling my water glass was after Luna's thorough cleaning. "Amazing! If you can help people as well as you can clean a dish, I know the Galaxy will be in good hands!"
